I've been a 'maker' all my live long days ;) If you aren't a maker yourself, chances are you KNOW a maker and we LOVE to shower our favorite people with special things we've created as a symbol of our affection.
It wasn't until about 4 years ago that I began designing & creating goodies to offer others outside of my magical sphere & let me tell you...at the risk of sounding a little goofy...it's a pretty wonderful feeling when someone connects with one of my handmade treasures.
When it comes to materials I have had waves of curiosity ranging from felt to found items. Polymer clay feels like home and has remained a constant. It's colorful, plays well with other materials, it warms to your touch, softens with contact, learns to take the shape you desire, the more you study and train, the more it reflects your skills, and it becomes firm and stands it's ground when put to the fire. All characteristics that make a great witch or wizard. This Ravenclaw adores creating one-of-a-kind little treasures for the strange and unusual and if those treasures spark a little love in an admirer, all the better for this world ♥
